WIHM Special - Tingle Monsters (2020) by Alexandra Serio

An ASMR vlogger returns to her online fan base after an extended absence with a live stream that quickly spirals out of control.

This was an exceptionally enjoyable effort. The main genesis here, focused on the immersive quality of the stream and her interacting with the fans as she goes through her routine meeting up with everyone again becomes quite charming and soothing. When it starts to turn into a forum for everyone to harass and belittle her for being away, her appearance or the general type of content they're viewing, this one starts to turn into a far more terrifying realm not just due to the misogynist content that's on display but the shocking twist that's made all the more terrifying by the way the comments continue on in that same spiteful manner. It's quite an intriguing proposition this one brings forth.

If there is any fault to be had with this one, it's that the comment section scrolling along on the right side of the screen goes by way too fast to really get a handle on what's happening. Since the main point is directly tied to the user comments and what's going on there, not being able to get clear answers on what's happening and who's saying what to her. There's enough of an idea if you read it fast but the split focus is a bit distracting especially with the importance that plays in what's going on. Still, that's not an issue at all in the slightest with this one.
