In about one more month, Before the Devil Takes You: Part 2 will terrorize fans of horror films in theaters across Indonesia on February 27.
The first film, which was also directed by Timo Tjahjanto, was released in 2018 and was a success that reaped plenty of praise including myself. The film was even screened at a number of international film festivals such as the BFI London Film Festival, L'Etrange Festival in Paris, and the 2018 Fantastic Festival in Texas, United States.
Few details have emerged about the plot, but star Chelsea Islan teased "Part 2 is very different from the first. The first is about kinship, siblings, stepmother, and the case of Alfie's father. In Part 2 they are actually strangers to each other."
