Having already given the festival and indie hit debut The God Inside My Ear, director Joe Badon has since completed work on his follow-up effort Sister Tempest and is looking for funds to complete the post-production on the film. He's setup a crowdfunder for the project which you can find below.
Sister Tempest is a full length Thriller, Art-house, Body Horror, Sci Fi, Surreal Dark Comedy. (Like Mulholland Drive meets Holy Mountain meets Zardoz) We've finished shooting the film and we're looking for continuing funding to help with post production costs! This film features aliens, Godzilla-sized astronauts, a space council, a giant floating head, a cosmic camera crew, Nazis, cannibalism and vampires all wrapped inside of an art-house drama between an art teacher, her missing sister and her mysterious new roommate.
Says Badon "It's bigger and more grand than my last film (The God Inside My Ear) and therefore takes a larger budget and great commitment to the vision." He notes that they've already shot the film and it looks amazing, this weird, giant film needs support that the traditional Hollywood system would never give.
