Review:

For the most part, this one was an enjoyable enough entry. One of the more enjoyable aspects to be found here is the fact that there's a pretty enjoyable and overall setup to be had here. The fact that the zombie outbreak has already taken place and people are still intending to live their lives while it's still ongoing despite the presence in the airport with the different security measures in place to prevent that as well as the various partying sequences showing the different groups taking in the attractions around the city is all well-enough, leading into the moment when it all turns and provides some fun laughs along the way.

With the zombie outbreak taking place, this one picks up plenty of highly enjoyable encounters with the creatures. The outbreak in the club featuring the zombie stage-show that turns into full-blown chaos starts this off on a fine note, while the struggle to get back to the house offers up plenty of strong, humorous encounters that are quite fun. As well, their race to get to the safety of the boat has some fun and some humorous moments of them attempting to take the zombies out and really making for a nice finale to wrap it all up. With a brutal and incredibly graphic amputation thrown into the mix, all of which giving this lots of fine bloodshed and a chance to partake in the rather enjoyable zombie make-up, these here manage to hold this up over it's rather obvious flaws.

The main issues to be had here is the fact that there's just no way to care about anything or anybody in this one. This is one of the hardest groups of people to care about who spend the entire time absolutely preoccupied with sex of both sexes, constantly try to poke fun at each other and are in general just absolutely annoying at every opportunity. Due to us having to spend as much time with them as we are here, the fact that the group turns into the stereotypical setup hitting all the tropes and having no redeeming arcs or qualities that make us care what happens to them allows this to really take quite a short amount of time before they get old and tiring.

As well, the fact that there's plenty of illogical and highly suspect moments within here that just don't make sense. The initial idea here of the zombie plague starting in the manner it does has some highly questionable elements with the absolutely asinine reasoning for letting it got unleashed. Taking on the idea of keeping the party going at the hotspot here even with them running around the entire time which is entirely moronic, the fact that this one happens in the way it does is not surprising at all which really makes this one just quite idiotic in how it plays out with a storyline this rough to believe. Overall, though, it's still entirely enjoyable enough.

Overview: ***/5
While there are a few problems to be had here with some logic problems and a generally unlikable cast, the amount of fun zombie action otherwise featured here does manage to play off enough of those issues. Only the most hardcore zombie fanatics or indie horror aficionados should go into this one due to these problems, while the rest out there should mostly heed caution.
