Kwaidan (1964)
Four ghost stories are told based on Japanese folklore stories by author Lafcadio Hearn: a man is haunted by the ghost of his former wife after killing her to marry someone else; a man is targeted on his deathbed by the spirit of a woman who helped him earlier but forced him never to reveal what happened; a lord demands a master storyteller retell a famous battle that will keep demons at bay; a guilty man is convinced he can see a dead man's spirit in every glass of water he comes across.
