Plot:
After a horrific biological diagnosis, a team of scientists leads a team into treating a microscopic shark in the veins of a Prime Minister's cancer-stricken son to help cure him, and when the operation is a success, tries to retrieve the shark before it returns to its full size.
Review:
Overall, this was a pretty solid and likable enough feature. One of the better elements here is how far this leans into the goofiness of the situation, where it's almost pure farce with the way it presents the action in here. The setup itself is goofy enough, with the cancer diagnosis providing the opportunity to test out a dangerous, experimental procedure involving shrinking a shark into a microscopic animal and setting it free in the person's bloodstream to kill the cancer cells and must then try to attack the shark to get it successfully out of the body before it becomes full-sized again, which offers this with the kind of opportunity to work incredibly well at featuring genuinely cheesy and silly elements. This is all about the kind of interactions and comments by the production team about what's going on, as their stupidity and absurd sense of dynamics about the whole process is responsible for the type of comedy going on throughout here.
That works well enough at giving this a cheesy enough atmosphere, as there's not much else going on here. The central premise is the problem, as it manages to completely take away any chance of this one offering the kind of traditional content that would normally be present here going through this idea of the shark traveling around inside of this person's body and trying to get it out of the body before it reemerges is a way to hold this back from diving into the typical type of attack here. Far too much of the running time is spent with just showing the shark swimming through his veins and not providing attacks on random victims, leaving it to switch content instead to following the team preparing the operation or the clumsy figure wandering around trying to deal with his own stupidity-inspired moves, leaving this with the kind of lighthearted, airy approach that might not be the kind of style most will appreciate.

A watchable enough, if slightly misguided, cheesy shark film, there are some worthwhile factors to be had here while still having enough flaws with what’s happening to keep this one down overall. Those interested in this type of genre fare or who are fans of the creative crew will have the most to like here, while most others out there should heed caution.
