Short Film Review: Sorority Babes (2024) by Angel Bradford

Arriving at a secluded retreat, a group of sorority pledges try to figure out what's going on with the mysterious leaders of the event.

There was quite a lot to enjoy here. The fantsatic setup, bringing the group of strangers together at the remote cabin which allows them to get an idea of who they are and what they're doing at the sorority house, is a great way to get this started. Seeing the high-class names involved helps this along tremendously with the personalities involved managing to provide some natural conflicts amongst the camaraderie that builds up as the series of incidents around the cabin while also showing off the potential creepiness to be had with the arrival of the soroity heads who appear later on.

The second half, where we get an idea about what the dark secret surrounding everything about the sorority in several rather impressive features. With the reveal about the past legacy of the pledges who came before them, the need for keeping the nature of what the sorority leaders are really after, and what the overall impression the girls have towards everyone, this all provides enough to get a handle of what the potential full-length one will be like. That should hopefully resolve a couple of issues where the move to a feature-length effort will spell some of that out or answer some potential questions about everything so it serves itself quite well overall.
