3 Days in Malay-

This overall solid genre effort, about a team of soldiers asked to hold an Air Force base from encroaching troops, is fun for what it is as long as you don't take history into account. The full-throttle battles are quite fun with the full-scale charges, gun-battles, and countermeasures are pretty much utilized throughout the entire effort without letup as the pacing here is great. Starting off with a brief bit about their history and working relationships with each other, this soon gives way to the series of encounters that come about which are usually fun, fiery scenes done on a budget but still quite likable for the portrayal of bravery and courage on display throughout here. It does generate a pretty heavy and obvious low-budget quality that becomes quite apparent when it carries on building these cliche scenarios always found in every one of these types of war films. On top of that, there are also the historical inaccuracies found throughout the film as the entire real-life operation touted in the film was carried out by a different entity altogether so it's attempts at memoralizing a real event are effectively rendered moot by the decision. Should that not be a problem, it's a pretty decent if unoriginal effort.

Warhouse One-

A decent enough feature, about a gunman trying to save a rescued orphan from enemy forces surrounding his position, has potential if looked at in a specific mindset. The frantic nature of the storyline here is nicely built with a measured first half establishing the drawma of the situation before beginning to generate more frantic shootouts and gunfights at the end as the escape into the wildnerness provides the opportunity tolet loose with this quite nicely. However, that starts in one the films' many issues where a lot of the usual assortment of war-film flaws emerge in the laughably and obviously ill-maintained attention to ammunition means he's constantly able to fire whatever rounds he needs at any given moment, the landscape depicted here is decidedly far removed from the real-world location depicted so all strain of immersion is completely shattered, and the film never provides any sense of danger from their journey no matter how many enemies arrive on the scene so it is decidedly overlong without much in the way of helping it along. If you can overlook these factors, it's not a bad time overall but this does have some big issues to overcome.
