Crowdfunding Alert - Upcoming Slasher Bloody Summer Camp in need of funding

Launching today, the second half of a crowdfunding campaign for upcoming slasher Bloody Summer Camp is live and ready to go!

Bloody Summer Camp is a new 80's summer camp slasher. We are trying to create a new horror film that stays true to the 80's slasher style and feel.  Our camp in the film, Camp Trustfall, is a real kids' summer camp that we are filming at. We have actual 80's music from an 80's punk band that will be featured in the film and our musical composer Adam Robertson is going to make a score that will hopefully match something right out of an 80's film. Our killer, Devilface, wears a leather devil mask, a black members only jacket and black isotoner gloves. His eyes are blackened out and his skin is completely covered because we wanted the killer to be able to be anyone to keep you guessing until the end.

Says Director Dave Kerr: "Hello to everyone who is just discovering us. Back in the summer, we ran a successful crowdfunding campaign for Bloody Summer Camp and raised over $12,500! It was enough to get the ball rolling and book the camp and it allowed us to bring horror icon Felissa Rose on board as Camp Director Crowell. Since then, we became fully cast and started filming scenes back in September. We had to stop due to the weather changing but we are completely booked to continue filming from March to May. Because we want to bring you the best movie possible, we came up with some new perks and now we're back for one final crowdfunder to help us make this movie exactly the way it should be made without cutting any corners. This is a flexible campaign so we don't need to raise all of the $10,000 BUT if we can hit $10,000, we will include a second horror celebrity in the film."

"We are currently crowdfunding for additional funds to help with the rest of production and post-production. Filming has already begun on Bloody Summer Camp and is expected to wrap up at the end of Spring 2020. We're raising more funds so that we can afford to make the film better with better lighting, a great score, and professional sound mixing. We don't want a small budget to dictate certain parts of the film. One example is: We have an amazing composer in mind for the score to give it the right 80's feel that the movie deserves but unless we raise enough money to pay him, we may have to resort to using a different composer who is cheaper or possibly free. The lighting is another example. We can film the movie with what we have but if we are able to spend some money to kick up the lighting in some crucial scenes, it'll be a better overall viewing experience for the audience."

Synopsis-
In 1986, counselors at Camp Trustfall are preparing for the new summer. It's all fun and games until one of the new counselors goes missing. Now, an evil lurks in the darkness. Is it the camp legend come to life or does someone else have an axe to grind?
